Manila Hotels

Manila, Philippines prides itself with a wide selection of Manila Hotels suitable for various needs, purposes and lifestyles. Whether your visit is for business or pleasure; and whether you are with friends, families, business colleagues, or even alone, Manila can definitely offer you a unique stay and pleasurable accommodation experience.

Hotels in Manila are strategically located for the convenience, satisfaction, and delight of valued customers. In Makati, for example, which is considered the country’s prime business district, hotels are either within or in the periphery of stylized shopping malls, fine dining restaurants, business kiosks and cafes’, and corporate buildings that house the Philippines’ biggest companies. Most likely, you will also find your country’s embassy office located in the area. From the country’s main airport known as Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), it will take you approximately 35 minutes to get to Makati.

A similar atmosphere can be found and felt in Ortigas, the country’s second most important commercial district and which houses some of the major call centers. Similar with Makati, Ortigas has five (5)-star, four (4)-star, and three (3)-star hotels. Most of the more popular hotels are located within a 1-kilometer radial distance from one of the country’s biggest shopping malls called the SM Mega Mall.

Ortigas once took international attention having been in the CNN’s headlines in 1986. You may recall, it was the place where several thousands of concerned Filipino citizens converged to restore the country’s democracy through a peaceful People Power Revolution in said year. From NAIA, it will take you approximately 45 minutes to get to Ortigas, which goes farther to the north from the Makati area.

Farther northward are Quezon City hotels which sprout from every nook. The glamour and glitz of some of the Makati and Ortigas hotels may not be found among them, but they are definitely equally competitive in terms of service. These hotels are also very accessible which makes it advantageous especially if you are dealing with local counterparts or guests coming from different directions. Quezon City is also known to be the City of the Stars, likened to Hollywood, for this is where you find the two largest TV networks in the country. Quezon City is an additional 15-minute drive from Ortigas.

In the south, which is approximately a 45-minute drive from NAIA, there is also a stretch of 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star hotels extending from Pasay City to Malate and Ermita in Manila. The hotels in Pasay City area, specifically those found in the stretch of Roxas Boulevard, are within 2-kilometer radial distance to the newest recreation and the Philippines’ largest shopping to date, called the Mall of Asia (MOA) which also houses the country’s first IMAX theatre with the largest screen that is 8-storey high, and an Olympic-sized skating rink.

The hotels in this area are also within the same radial distance to the Cultural Center of the Philippines situated in a complex built in the 1970s to house establishments that will feature the artistry and craftsmanship of the Filipino artists. The complex is a host to a lot of functions and events including stage plays, big seminars and conventions, commencement exercises, anniversaries, plush wedding receptions, and the likes. Most of the hotels in this area are a witness to a heartwarming sunset at the Manila Bay. One of them is the Manila Hotel, a favored place by many international guests since decades ago. At one point it also served as host hotel for the beautiful candidates of the global Ms. Universe search.

The rows of the hotels are also very near Intramuros where preserved relics of the Spanish period can be seen. The Luneta Park, famous to foreigners because of the statue of the country’s national hero Jose Rizal is a 2-minute drive away from said select hotels in the area. With the proximity of these hotels to the latest attraction in the country known as Manila Ocean Park, the first oceanarium in the Philippines, and patterned after that of Singapore’s Underwater World Park and Hong Kong’s Ocean Park, staying in one of the hotels in the area also gives you much vantage point.

At the other end of said stretch are equally hospitable hotels in the Malate and Ermita areas. As a place, both Malate and Ermita are preferred by those who are active at both daytime and nightime. Lined up in the streets are entertainment venues that feature performances of different genre – from tasteful and decent performances, to funny and hilarious acts, and on to shows that are exciting and leave something for the guest’s imagination.

Other than that, these two are practical places to be in. They boast of long-time running restaurants that existed for more than a decade and which have maintained the distinct taste of their menus. Big, medium-sized, and small shopping malls also abound. A stretch of restaurants offering Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and Mediterranean cuisines are found one after the other. All forms of public transportation are also available – from taxi cabs, to jeepneys, to 3-tire vehicle called tricycles, and even calesas which have been predominant during the Spanish times.

The food in Manila Hotels are prime considerations. Most of the five star hotels have hired international chefs just to make sure that the taste and look of the cuisine they serve pass international standards. The time they take to serve the food is also given importance. A part of Filipino hospitality dictates that no guest is made to wait long to eat.

The rooms and the amenities found in each unit, especially those of the 5 star hotels, are painted carefully to suit the most meticulous of taste. You can choose the ambience that best describes you – gentle and formal, young and on-the-go, quiet but friendly – whatever the personality is, there is one hotel which the guest would say, “this one is made for me.” The rooms are cut in different sizes and shapes to fit single, double/twin, and family accommodations. Choosing the rooms can be fun at your end as your choice can depend on the cut, size, or views offered from its angle. There is much variety to ensure that your stay will be far from monotony.

For homebody guests, many hotels provide you with everything you need inside – spa, pool, gym, clinic, boutique, beauty parlor, business rooms, souvenir shop, bakery, and others. The lounges are just big enough to accommodate night performances of individual singers as well as bands.

As for payment, both cash and cards are accepted, and in both peso and dollar currency. The rates vary from USD30 to USD150 on single occupancy, one-night only. Some already include breakfast in that rate.

The hotels can also provide you with a package that includes tours around the city or other attractions outside Manila such as a get-away in Boracay or Puerto Galera, a hike-up in Mt. Pinatubo, a romantic escape to Tagaytay, or a nature-trip adventure to Chocolate Hills, and the likes.

Many have said that it is fun and easy visiting the Philippines and staying here. It pays a little extra that anywhere in the city, you will find somebody who can speak and converse with you in fluent English.

In our hotels, the service provided from security check as you enter the hotel ramp, to the valet and concierge, to the front desk and up to the time you are ushered to your chosen room, is definitely nothing short of what you may have probably experienced in other countries. However, there is one unique thing you will experience in any of the hotels you may end up choosing, that is the warmth of the Filipino hospitality - a brand that you can only find in this side of the earth. We invite you to come and experience it!
